Diagnostic Imaging

Fourth Line Animal Hospital is equipped with its own digital X-ray machine. This is a useful imaging technique to further diagnose a pet’s condition. From these images, the veterinarian can work on developing the next steps in the treatment plan. If your pet is limping, seems lethargic or refusing to eat without any other symptoms, the veterinarian will more than likely consider and suggest having some x-rays done. Diagnostic Imaging can rule out and assist the doctor in detecting any breaks or fractures of bones, as well as any foreign bodies in the abdomen.

If Ultrasound imaging is required, this service can be arranged the same day through various partners and specialists.
