Soft Tissue Surgeries
Soft tissue procedures involve the surgery on soft tissue and organs within the abdomen. Once the physical examination has been performed, the different options are discussed with the client. A treatment plan is then made up, which may possibly involve an exploratory surgery to diagnose and treat the patient. This can be an emergency procedure or an elective procedure.
Most commonly performed soft tissue surgeries include: stomach foreign bodies, intestinal foreign bodies, urinary bladder surgeries to remove bladder stones (cystotomy), spleen removal and tumor removal surgeries.
